ALUMA TOWER COMPANY, INC. has been manufacturing quality-built aluminum

towers for over 25 years.   Aluma's telescoping towers are used for communications,

military applications, surveillance, wireless data transfer, monitoring and testing,  The

antenna tower is ideal for transmitting, receiving, or any application requiring rapid

erection of an antenna or instrumentation.

towers are manufactured from 6063-T832 and 6061-T6 aluminum alloys.  The welding

process known as TIG (tungsten inert gas welding) is used throughout; the majority of

the hardware is stainless steel. 

Telescoping towers are complete with one of Aluma’s unique tilting bases. The bases

 include H-Hinge base, and the T-Hinge base.  Towers are installed on a customer's

concrete pad for use as a permanent tower.  For temporary use, an optional base is

available for quick temporary insertion in the ground.

Towers that are comprised of two or three sections must have the lower section

building bracketed or guyed; upper section should be guyed in high wind areas. 

Four section towers must have the lower section bracketed or guyed and the upper

 sections guyed.

• Hinge base for tilting application; a non-tilting base can be substituted at no charge.
• Rotor plate and plastic top bushing are standard on all heavy duty & extra heavy duty

          towers. Optional Ball thrust bearings are available.

• Aluma Tower’s unique crank assemble is used on towers with “B” sections as the

           bottom most section.  All other telescoping towers use a worm gear winch.

STANDARD DUTY: The Standard-Duty aluminum crank-up towers are designed for small antennas up to five square feet of antenna surface area and towers are intended to be bracketed and/or guyed.  The uppermost section of these towers will not accept internally mounted rotors.  The standard telescoping towers are complete with a 1-1/2” dia. X .125 wall x 5’ long mast, guy ears on each section, heavy-duty building bracket and tilt base.  The Standard-Duty tower is ideal to elevate lightweight antennas, sampling gear, wind speed and direction equipment and any other similar instrumentation.  The tower easily tilts to allow antenna work and the rapid collection of samples.
